【Guest's Cancellation Policy】

In case the Guest wishes to cancel the Homestay, the policy below will apply to the cancellation.
After deducting the appropriate charges from the price paid, Homing will orefund the remaining amount within 30 days from the date of the cancellation.

We will not refund the arrangement fee in any case.

*It depends on each credit card company when the refund will be reflected on the statement.

 

【Cancellation Policy Charge】
If you cancel in the first 14 day(s) before the homestay starts date 100%
If you cancel between 15 and 29 day(s) in advance of the homestay starts date 50%
If you cancel at least 30 day(s) in advance of the homestay starts date, there is a 100% refund. 0%

When counting the days, we use the time from our system which is based on the tour’s actual start time using the area’s local time zone, 24 hours is counted as 1 full day.
The cancellation must be by e-mail by the Guest. Not phone.

 

≪To avoid any confusion please see sample case below:≫
If a Homestay that is going to be conducted in Tokyo start date and time is May 31st 9:00 am.

- Cancelled on May 17th after 9:00 am (Local Time) Time = 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
- Cancelled on May 2nd after 9:00 am (Local Time) = 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
- Cancelled on May 2nd before 8:59 (Local Time) = 100% of the payment will be refunded.
